People go
into different states of
different levels daily. The most common daily deep state -or trance,
is sleep. That trance happens pretty much by itself -when you ALLOW
IT.
Basically
one goes into trance when
there is not much else going on, or you are bored.
If you do
anything long enough, it will
take you into trance: Driving far on the open highway (called
daydreaming), Reading pages of fiction, Watching a movie
attentively... etc. The point is, YOU DO IT ALREADY. We are used to
these trances, so unless you snap out of it, you usually don't even
notice you just did it.
Use
trance:
Going
into trance in and of itself is a
fairly pointless affair, unless you can do it to prove to yourself
that you can and do.
Below are
some things you can do EASILY
and QUICKLY to induce trance states that you will be CONSCIOUS of AS
IT HAPPENS.
Below are
three easy ways of inducing a
trance.
Ways
to spin your reality so you
know it spun:

1. STARING:
Sit comfortably and still and look fixedly
at a spot on a monochrome wall for 60 seconds. (That's right, just do
it.)
OK, if you want detail:
1. Use wall with at least a meter clear, one colour area.
2. Try blink little -you will,
3. Keep your body still
4. Keep your eyes focused, they may tend to soften.
5. You don't have to do anything with your 'mind'
6. Pretty soon some or all of the following will appear to
happen:
1. The spot appears to move,
2. the wall 'breathes' or 'stretches' organically,
3. Your depth perception distorts.
2. ONE
WORD 'SPELL':
Pick a word like 'fork', sit comfortably
with your eyes closed, plug both ears with your fingers and repeat the
word over-and-over, out loud,
until you realize you are having a new kind of experience.
Details:
1. Single
syllable words work easier, but use any one (Some say one should not
use one's name in this exercise -I don't know why).
2. Nouns
or verbs work better.
3. Test to
see if the word 'repeats' easily ('marks' will be harder than 'bus')
4. Just
keep a steady fast pace, don't rush the repetition.
5. Just
keep going until things go strange:
You may
find your attention shifts from seeing associations of the word
mentally, to listening to the sound coming out your mouth, or anything
else... just keep going.
RE-ORIENTATION:
All these
methods are safe to my
knowledge. They are designed to 'mess with your head', so when they
do, relax...
Once you
'get the point', JUST STOP.
-if you
feel you need, sit or lie down
for a minute or so with your eyes open and settle in good old
reality. Being your biggest habit, reality will kick in automatically
after a trance.
Have fun
